How Engagements Are Staffed

One director, named, for the life of the contract.

Which director depends on where the risk sits: a platform build or a cloud migration is led on the technology side, an operations handover or a service desk rollout on the delivery side. Both are across the escalation path either way.

I.

Scoped by the person who signs it

The director who writes your scope is the one accountable for delivering it. Nothing is estimated by someone who will not be there when the estimate is tested.

II.

Built by engineers who were in the room

The team that delivers was present when the requirements were written. Handover notes are a poor substitute for having heard the client say it.

III.

Escalation ends at a director

The escalation matrix in your agreement terminates at a named person with a direct number, not at a shared mailbox or a ticket queue.

Governance

A small board, and the discipline that requires.

Two directors is an efficient structure and a concentrated one. These are the controls we run because of it, rather than in spite of it.

Nothing depends on one person

Both directors hold administrative access to every client environment, and credentials are held in a shared vault with the client’s own recovery path documented. No engagement is exposed to a single individual being unavailable.

Documentation is a delivery condition

An engagement is not accepted as complete until the architecture notes, schema, runbook and asset register are handed over. That rule exists so the firm never becomes the only place the knowledge is stored.

Capacity is declined openly

We take on what two directors can genuinely stay across. When that is full, we say so and give you a date rather than accepting the work and quietly lengthening the timeline.

Security work is authorised in writing

Vulnerability assessment and hardening are carried out only against systems you own or control, under a written scope agreed in advance, with findings delivered to a named recipient.
